What do you get when three natives of Pittsburgh find themselves living in the Rocky Mountains?
A decade-long plan to open a brewery back home of course. The name Allegheny City pays homage to the breweries location on the north shore of Pittsburgh’s Allegheny River, what was once a cornerstone of Allegheny City. The brewery opened on September 28, 2016. It has quickly become the neighborhood destination the three founders were seeking to replicate from their days in Colorado, that real sense of community in Pittsburgh’s Deutschtown neighborhood.
