Situated overlooking the Cuyahoga, Collision Bend was named after one of the treacherous U shaped turns in the river where commercial ships got into many accidents from unforeseen incoming ships. Talk about a blind spot! The epitome of industrial modern, their building originally served as a Chandlery where civil war era merchant ships stockpiled before sailing onto the Great Lakes. Nowadays, it’s a better place to stockpile Cleveland brewmaster, Luke Purcell’s tasty beers, and some Southern California street food style meals.
