Mobtown is the first brewery in Baltimore’s historic Brewers Hill in 41 years! Mobtown’s first beer, an APA, was called 41 Year Lapse in honor of this history. Brewers Hill was once home to Gunther and National Brewing Company. Both breweries were predominant in the late 19th century with Baltimore’s large German population.
Dave, Darren, & Noah are old friends that have been homebrewing for a long time, and wanted to bring local beer back to the Brewers Hill neighborhood of Baltimore. Dave was homebrewing under the Mobtown name when they decided to make a full time operational brewery.
