Once home of the Oliver Brewing Company beers, who was churning out their signature craft brews in the basement of Pratt Street Ale House before expanding to a larger facility in 2008, this landmark pub – lovingly known by the locals as “Baltimore’s Brew Pub – is still a spot for some of the best beer and nightlife in the city.

The building that has been home to some of Baltimore’s favorite bars since 1888, when 202, 204 and 206 W. Pratt Street were originally constructed, now houses Pratt Street Ale House, where you can gather to enjoy delicious burgers, wings and pizza or settle in at the bar to watch the game.

Continuing the legacy of its predecessor, Pratt Street Ale House still brews Oliver Ales in its basement. The English-styled ales are supplemented (not that they need be) by a variety of bottles and a few non-Oliver drafts, all of which you can sample as our guides show you a little slice of history over several pints of award-winning beer.
